Every wedding I turn up to shoot is different, so I always show up with my eyes wide open. I don’t have a list of shots I must tick off or a preconceived idea of how the day must go. I’m just taking it all in and capturing as it unfolds.

It’s perhaps a little un-wedding-y. And I suppose a lot of my photos could be described that way too. But that’s how I see and how I love to shoot.

Problem number one for nearly everyone getting married ever: you don’t like being photographed but you’re hiring a professional to take your picture all day long.

Before I even think about taking a picture I will make sure you’re at ease and comfortable with me being around. And when I do start shooting, my aim is for you to not even notice me at all. Relax, have a great time, and forget about the photos. I’ve got it covered.

Gotta be honest here: nothing really compares to an experienced wedding planner. If you’ve got a lot of moving parts and you want things to tick along smoothly without having to manage things yourself, it’s a good idea to engage a planner.

I can even recommend a couple of very good ones.

Yes and they’re bloody great. You can order beautiful prints and frames direct from your client gallery. All print orders are fulfilled by the outstanding Atkins Pro Lab in Adelaide. They know what they’re doing and it really shows.

I’m based in Melbourne but I love to travel for a wedding. There may be an additional charge if you’re taking me a long way from home but I travel light and have worryingly low standards when it comes to accomodation so it’s more affordable than you might think!
